Die Schleich Figuren sind alle detailgetreu modelliert, liebevoll bemalt und stehen für pädagogisch wertvolles Spielen. Der Komodowaran ist die größte Echse der Welt. Als Lauerjäger wartet er im hohen Gras auf kleine Nagetiere, Vögel und andere Reptilien. Er versucht sie, mit seinen kurzen, scharfen Zähnen zu beißen. Wenn ihm das gelingt, sterben die Tiere aber nicht an dem Biss, sondern an einer giftigen Flüssigkeit, die er über Drüsen in seinem Maul überträgt.
