Der Pinguin von Schleich WILD LIFE ist ein Kaiserpinguin. Von allen Pinguinen ist er der größte und schwerste. Außerdem ist er der einzige, der so weit südlich in der Antarktis lebt. Kaiserpinguine bauen kein Nest, sondern brüten direkt auf dem Eis. Während das Weibchen nach der Eiablage zum Meer wandert, um nach Fischen zu tauchen, wird das Ei vom Männchen ausgebrütet. Es legt es auf seine Füße und stülpt die Bauchfalte darüber, um es warm zu halten.
