Skip-Bo ist eine spannende Patience-Variante und bietet Unterhaltung für die ganze Familie. Jeder Spieler dreht nur die oberste Karte seines Spielerstapels um und legt diese aufgedeckt auf den Stapel. Die Spieler müssen versuchen, alle Karten ihres Spielerstapels abzulegen, um das Spiel zu gewinnen.Während des Spiels werden bis zu vier Ablegestapel gebildet und von allen Spielern genutzt. Die Ablegestapel werden in der Mitte der Spielfläche neben dem Kartenstock gebildet. Außerdem kann jeder Spieler bis zu 4 vor ihm liegende Hilfsstapel bilden. Die Spieler dürfen nur ihre eigenen Hilfsstapel nutzen. Die übrigen Karten werden verdeckt in die Mitte der Spielfläche gelegt. Sie bilden den Kartenstock.
