Der Gripen (Greif) des schwedischen Herstellers Saab ist ein Mehrzweckkampfflugzeug aus dem Jahr 1988. Die Indienststellung erfolgte 1996. Zum Entwicklerkonsortium JAS gehörten auch Volvo, Ericsson und FFV Aerotech. Die Version E (Einsitzer-Version) gibt es erst als Prototypen.
