8mm dick, IR-Cut, dielektrisch beschichtet Baader D-ERF D=90mm - Energieschutzfilter zur Beobachtung der Sonne - Wärmereduzierung # 2459243D, verhindert das Eindringen von Wärme in den Fernrohrtubus. Die Rundscheiben sind planparallel auf 1/10 Lambda poliert und verfügen über eine effektive Infrarot Reflexvergütung, die die Wärme vom Fernrohrtubus fernhält. Damit wird zum einen die thermisch bedingte Luftunruhe im Tubus reduziert und zum anderen eine Erhitzung von teuren Filtern in der Brennpunktnähe verhindert. Das ist die Voraussetzung zum Einsatz von H-Alpha Filtern für die Sonnenbeobachtung in H-Alpa.
