Der Controller unterstütz PCIe 3.0 x16, wobei jede M.2 SSD mit 4 Lanes angebunden wird, so sind Transferraten von bis zu 32 GB/s möglich. Das Aluminiumgehäuse und ein 50 mm Lüfter sorgen dafür, dass die Abwärme schnell abgeführt werden kann. Der HighPoint SSD7101A-1 Controller ist eine High End Lösung für Workstations oder Gaming PCs.
